2019 The Bos
The Bos is an homage to Peter Bos, a 40+ year Washington wine veteran and our instructor at the Northwest Wine Academy. A master at managing misfit barrels and cantankerous lots, Peter taught a small army of winemakers the fine art of making a wine greater than the sum of its parts through conscientiousness and care. Our goal with The Bos is a wine emblematic of Washington Cabernet: supremely drinkable and full of texture.
The 2019 version of the Bos could be the best vintage yet. Opaque, dark color hints at what’s in the glass: red and black cherries, blackberry bramble and dark chocolate intermix with baking spice and Eucalyptus. The palate is sexy, silky and full-bodied but also fresh and refined with plenty of dark fruit, mouthcoating, plush tannins and a lengthy finish that goes on and on. Yummy.
